Attending The Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy has been one of the most important milestones of my life. When planning my visit I didn't know what to expect, and the unexpected is what I got. I received an amazing education from some of the best instructors from around the U.S. The class size was perfect and let us get a lot of one on one time that helped us achieve the standard that they strive for. What I didn't expect was a life changing experience. I expected this to be a vacation from reality, but it was a chance to really take a look at myself. CRSMT is dedicated to giving a top notch education along with the tools to gain personal awareness and personal growth. I learned things about myself and life that I never would've been able to at a typical run of the mill massage school. Each student is valued and their well being as a whole is of utmost importance. I would recommend this education to anyone who is serious about facing challenges mentally, physically, and emotionally. Upon graduation I had the feeling of accomplishment and extreme appreciation. Thank you Jill and Russ for giving so many the opportunity of a life time.

My time at CRSMT was and continues to be enlightening. Our class and its instructors shared an intimacy that was both endearing and challenging. The school provides a container for the exploration of the INDIVIDUAL´s art of massage. Of course the skills and practical/functional elements of massage are taught, but the emphasis on personal expression and exploration is what I found to be the most beneficial. Furthermore this tone is carried on through ones own personal development, there is a container but there is also a freedom that invites mistakes and adventure. I invested all of my personal savings and four months of my life in coming to CRSMT and have no doubt that this investment shall carry on through all other aspects of my life and the lives of those I come in contact with. Thank you CRSMT!!!!

I have been thinking so much about all you've brought into my life and how thankful I am that you shared such a lasting gift with me. A few months ago I passed my national with flying colors. I was so well prepared, and the test was a cake walk. Sense then I’ve been working at a physical therapy rehab clinic called WaterWorks Total Rehab. A majority of my clientel are geriatric and full of osis's and itis's. The education you provide is more than adequate and far beyond average. My sessions are often scheduled in half hour increments, and I get to work with usually 10 -12 clients everyday. I miss you both and my former classmates very much. I would love to, once again, find myself in the jungle if I could be of any help to CRSMT or the future alumni. Thank you, Pura Vida, ~Jordan

I think about both of you all the time and really miss not being in massage school...it was such a great time and I feel like I've left my family, although we all are scattered around the world at this point.  I just wanted to say hi, see how things are going, tell you that I miss and love both of you and that I hope to see you soon!  I've been doing massage out of my car and traveling to people's houses making $60 an hour and I get about 5-10 house calls a week right now, sometimes more so its been a nice income...I feel really prepared and confident.  I interviewed at 3 chiropractor offices, 2 spas and I got hired at all of them, but when I realized that they will pay me 20 bucks for all my hard work I decided to work solo...now I know why they say to work on your own if you are good : )  So I turned down all the jobs, some keep calling me trying to bargain with me and pay me more or change some rules around, its nice to have an upper hand in the matter…I'm dying to come back to Costa Rica...I miss the people, the weather and the waves... All is amazing!  Just wanted to let you know what I've been doing this last month...I finally feel settled in...I hope you are having an amazing vacation and pampering yourselves because you worked so hard!  Honestly the 2 of you are amazing...I look back on the whole experience and am amazed at how good the school is...I feel so much better prepared than a lot of the people I’ve met coming from other massage schools...you both have started something amazing and I know its hard work, full time job...you never really had a day off!  So enjoy your time and if you even need anything, or an assistant down in CR let me know because I will be there in a heartbeat : )  Love you both!  Take care! ~Melissa
