Students have two choices of International Airports for arrival in Costa Rica:

1. Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia.

2. Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose.

CRSMT provides student's ground transportation upon arrival and departure through Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia. Liberia is about a 2 hour drive from Samara Beach.

Samara Beach Costa Rica

The Juan Santamaria International Airport is a 4-5 hours drive from Samara. Shuttles are available from Juan Santamaria International Airport to Samara Beach.

There are local airlines which offer daily flights from Juan Santamaria Airport to Carrillo, the neighboring town of Samara. Whatever option you take, our drivers and vans are very comfortable and safe. CRSMT can assist students in arranging travel. We can help you find the best flights and will provide tips on how to move through customs with ease when you arrive.
